Rain-slicked cobblestones reflect the amber glow of a corner tea house in Istanbul as dusk settles. A cyclist in a yellow rain poncho pauses, balancing a wicker basket tray loaded with flatbread against the handlebars, steam rising from a glass çay cup balanced precariously on the rim. Inside the warm, yellow-lit window, a magazine rack holds glossy travel guides, while a knitted blanket drapes over a chair. Outside, the wet pavement mirrors the neon sign above, and a stray cat watches from under an awning.
