Croatian Refinery Rack Under Sodium Vapor Light

Amber light from sodium vapor lamps washes over a wet steel refinery rack in Croatia during the last moments of golden hour. Rain leaves a sheen on the metal beams, reflecting the warm orange glow against a cooling autumn sky. The structure stands in perfect symmetry, its vertical pipes and horizontal girders forming a rigid grid that stretches upward. Droplets rest on the cold rivets and joints, catching the illumination. Long shadows fall across the wet surfaces, showing the mechanical severity of the framework. A final ray of sunlight glints off a vertical pipe near the bottom right corner.
