Copper-toned light washes over a weathered wooden sailboat resting on supports within a boatyard near Sendling, Munich. Thick autumn mist rests on the ground, softening the edges of the switchback approach that curves behind the vessel. The hull displays peeling paint and exposed wood grain, revealing years of use. Fallen leaves in shades of rust and ochre scatter across the damp earth beside the boat. Shadows lengthen rapidly as the sun dips below the horizon, falling across the fading sky. The rough texture of the wooden planks contrasts with the smooth, grey surface of the wet ground. One rusted bolt glints faintly on the stern railing, catching the last trace of the day's warmth.
