Silleteros carry massive, vibrant flower arrangements balanced on their backs, their traditional attire against the modern urban architecture lining the avenue. The midsummer sky casts a cool, even glow over the crowd, highlighting the intricate textures of red, yellow, and white blooms against the gray pavement. Participants move in a dense, rhythmic line, their faces turned forward with focused intensity. The sheer scale of the floral displays towers above the spectators gathered along the sidewalks. A reflection of a distant palm tree shimmers briefly on a wet patch of asphalt near the curb.
