A heavy-coated Clumber Spaniel sits on a cushioned window seat in Karbala, its cream fur catching soft light from the side. The dog leans slightly to one side, creating a natural asymmetry against the uncluttered background. Deep-set ears frame a broad muzzle, and subtle folds in the thick coat define the breed's bulk. A floorboard seam runs along the bottom edge near the subject's paws. The light reveals the texture of the cushion fabric and the sheen on the dog's fur. A brass ring by the window frame holds a faint reflection of the room.
