Behind him, a small potted houseplant struggles against the artificial light, its leaves catching the orange spill from the neon 'OPEN' sign. On the counter, a folding ruler lies next to a stack of receipts, while metal stools are visible through the glass, stacked upside down in the dim interior. The wet pavement outside, reflecting the chaotic mix of city lights and shadows, creating a gritty, lived-in atmosphere typical of a late-night urban stop.
