Cleaner Interaction in Nashville

Inside the glass, a clerk in a faded denim apron hands a garment bag to a customer, their interaction framed by the store’s industrial roll-up door. On the counter inside, a blue and white porcelain plate holds a curled orange peel left by a previous customer, next to a stack of spice jars repurposed as pen holders. The bright, shadowless light highlights the contrast between the sterile plastic of the garment bag and the worn texture of the apron fabric. Outside, a boot scraper sits empty on the stoop, collecting dust from foot traffic.
