City Bokeh Through Rainy Night Frame in Assam
by Janet Novak
Soft, out-of-focus circles of amber and white light blur across the dark background, marking distant streetlamps and building windows deep in the night. A dark, textured wooden lattice or window frame occupies the foreground, creating a geometric border that isolates the glowing cityscape beyond. Fine, vertical streaks of rain cut through the air, catching the faint ground glow and reflecting the scattered city lights. The sky above is a deep, clear indigo, scattered with sharp points of starlight that pierce the darkness. Wet surfaces in the immediate foreground glisten with moisture, mirroring the warm, intimate firelight that seems to emanate from within the sheltered area. The contrast between the sharp, dark wood of the frame and the diffuse, colorful bokeh creates a layered depth, ending with a single droplet clinging to the lower edge of the lattice.
