A narrow alleyway in Old City glows with the amber spill of a nearby pub sign, illuminating a stack of weathered wooden crates used as impromptu seating. A young woman in a faded denim jacket leans against the rough brick wall, her fingers stained with black chalk dust from a recent graffiti session. Beside her, a plastic crate holds a few vibrant purple zinnias, their petals catching the low light, while a half-empty ceramic mug rests on a crate edge, condensation beading on the cold surface.
