Ceramic Rifle Sling Tin in Neon Barracks Corridor
A small, matte-finish ceramic tin rests on a steel maintenance table in the center of a narrow barracks corridor. The container holds a folded ceremonial rifle sling, its leather straps coiled neatly inside. Overhead, flickering fluorescent tubes cast a harsh, cool neon glow that reflects off the polished concrete floor and the chrome handles of nearby lockers.
