A cyclist in a high-visibility vest pedals past a locked bicycle rack, their breath visible in the chill air. On a nearby bench, a half-eaten pastry rests beside a discarded newspaper, the ink slightly blurred by dampness. The cracked painted stucco of a doorway reveals layers of old blue and white, hinting at decades of weathering. Steam rises from a distant vent, blending with the fog that softens the sharp edges of the moored boats.
