A British Longhair cat sits centered on a low, weathered stone wall that borders a small yard in Shiraz. The animal's dense, plush coat displays rich silver-tan hues with distinct long fur texture around the neck and tail. Directly overhead, the camera angle shows the cat's round face and small, forward-set ears against a backdrop of neatly clipped green grass. Late autumn air is suggested by the subtle russet tones in the distant foliage and the soft, honeyed amber light of the evening sun filtering through dramatic, layered clouds. The stone surface beneath the cat shows fine cracks and patches of lichen, at the base of the scene in a lived-in domestic setting.
