Breakwater View in Wellington at Blue Hour

A bird's-eye perspective shows the curved concrete breakwater of Wellington Harbor as the sky deepens into twilight blue. The harbor water reflects the city lights from the waterfront buildings and the distant hills. Several fishing floats in bright red and yellow bob gently in the calm water near the edge of the breakwater. A small group of people stands near the railing, looking out at the water. The scene is busy with the natural movement of the water and the static structure of the harbor. The lighting is soft and cool, typical of the blue hour, highlighting the textures of the concrete and the colors of the floats.
