Brass Bell in Marseille

A brass bell rests on a rough stone windowsill, catching the warm, low-angle light of the Marseille sunset. The metal surface reflects the orange sky and the dark silhouette of the Old Port in the distance. Below the sill, a narrow alleyway reveals a glimpse of a red awning and a shadowed doorway. A small patch of dust settles in the grooves of the bell's clapper.
