A Bouvier des Ardennes lies flat on a textured linen sofa, viewed from directly above in the cool blue hour after sunset. The dog's thick, wiry coat shows distinct graying around the muzzle and a broad, square head with folded ears. Soft shafts of twilight light cut through the room, revealing floating dust particles that drift near the fabric weave. The dry season air leaves the indoor space clear except for these illuminated motes. Faded indigo tones from the evening outside wash over the neutral upholstery and the dog's fur. A small brass button on the sofa cushion catches the dim light at the edge of the frame.
