The last blue light of evening settles over a dusty street in Luxor, Egypt, casting long, cool shadows against the warm, sand-colored facades of traditional buildings. A vintage off-road SUV, dust-coated and rugged, sits parked near a small roadside stall, its headlights off but reflecting the dim ambient glow. Beside the vehicle, a vendor arranges a bright gladiolus spike in sunset colors, the deep reds and oranges of the flowers contrasting sharply with the encroaching twilight. Pedestrians move slowly in the background, their forms blurred by the low light and the gentle motion of the evening breeze. A quiet, candid moment of daily life as day transitions to night in this historic city.
