A local artisan leans against the frame, arranging a cluster of hand-painted majolica plates on a wooden crate, their vibrant cobalt and yellow patterns reflecting the soft dawn glow. Beside the crates, several unglazed terracotta pots sit in a row, their earthy tones against the cool blue walls.
