A narrow alley in the Casablanca medina glows under the deep indigo of blue hour, where the warm, yellow spill from a shop’s interior light cuts through the cooling evening air. The beam illuminates a section of rough, white-washed plaster wall, casting the intricate, geometric shadow of a wooden lattice screen onto its textured surface. Below, a worn, woven doormat lies slightly askew on the stone pavement, its frayed edges catching the ambient light. To the side, a cluster of vibrant bougainvillea blooms spills over a low concrete ledge, their magenta petals reflecting the shop’s glow against the darkening sky.
