Brightly colored rubber rings and squeakers rest on a wet, gray tiled counter alongside coiled black hoses and a white plastic scoop. The cool season air leaves faint moisture beads on the metal surfaces, catching the diffused window light that falls across the workspace. Behind the merchandise, stacks of folded towels and bottles of shampoo create a backdrop of organized utility.
