The dog's deep-set ears and muzzle shape are clearly defined against a soft, uncluttered background. Damp patches on the paved surface reflect the cool morning light, suggesting a recent light drizzle. A low garden edge with small green plants frames the lower left, while the dog's stance remains grounded and calm.
