Bright late morning light slices through the high windows of a tiled bathroom, casting sharp, diagonal sun stripes across the white ceramic floor and the legs of a cluster of plastic mops leaning against a chipped wall. The scene is anchored by a row of terracotta pots lined up on a low ledge, their earthy red tones against the cool, damp concrete of the floor. One blue and white porcelain bowl sits precariously near the drain, reflecting the harsh overhead glare. The perspective is wide and flat, showing the utilitarian geometry of the space without human presence, showing the texture of the wet tiles and the stark shadow lines created by the morning sun.
