First light of dawn casts a soft, cool blue hue over the textured adobe walls of a traditional Santa Fe building, highlighting the rough stucco and wooden vigas. In the foreground, a local artisan sits on a low wooden bench, her hands moving with practiced precision as she coils sweetgrass into a tight, round basket form. The natural fibers catch the early morning glow, against the deep shadows of the alleyway. Nearby, a small clay pot holds additional dried grasses, at the base of the scene in the authentic craftsmanship of New Mexico.
