Dim blue light from a window fills the room, casting a cool glow over a polished wooden dresser in a Baqubah hotel. A city skyline at twilight rests on the surface, its buildings mirrored in the glass top. Warm interior lamps settle into the corners, creating soft pools of amber light that contrast with the deepening blue outside. The wood grain runs horizontally, catching reflections of the distant urban glow. Heavy autumn leaves press against the windowpane, their colors muted by the low light. A small brass lamp base sits to the right, its shadow stretching long across the dresser's edge.
