An Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog lies curled on a patterned bedspread near a bright window in a room in Ferkessédougou. The dog's blue speckled coat shows distinct texture with coarse guard hairs over a dense undercoat. Its ears are semi-pricked and alert despite the resting posture, and the muzzle shape is broad and blocky. Dim window light mixes with the glow of interior lamps, casting soft shadows across the woven fabric. Muted reflections shimmer on the floor below, hinting at the wet season outside. The camera looks directly down, framing the animal's compact body against the geometric lines of the bedding.
