Austin Texas Noon Skateboarder at Train Station Clock Under Iron Roof

A skateboarder leans against a concrete pillar in the shade of the vaulted iron roof at the Austin train station, the harsh noon sun flattening the colors outside. The large station clock hangs prominently overhead, its face reflecting the midday glare. The rider wears a faded graphic t-shirt and jeans, one foot resting on the tail of the board while the other touches the ground. Concrete benches line the platform, showing signs of heavy daily use with scuff marks and weathered surfaces. Other commuters wait in the distance, their figures blurred by the heat haze rising from the tracks.
