A shopkeeper in a thick wool coat leans against a wooden counter, arranging bright green parsley and red tomatoes in woven baskets that sit on a low stone ledge. Behind him, a glass cloche protects a display of amber honey jars, catching the diffuse light. A folding chair sits empty near the doorway, its metal legs resting on cracked terrazzo tiles.
