A large jacaranda tree stands near the sidewalk, its branches heavy with purple blooms that contrast against the warm beige of the surrounding architecture. Pedestrians walk along the paved path, some pausing to look at shop windows illuminated by the fading daylight. Cars move slowly through the intersection, their headlights beginning to pierce the twilight. The transition from day to night in the capital, with the purple flowers adding a touch of natural color to the urban landscape.
