Amber Vacuum Tube on Display Ledge

Pale blue walls reflect broad midmorning skylight into a room near Khushab. A vintage glass vacuum tube rests on a painted wooden ledge, its internal filament glowing a warm amber against the cool ambient light. The glass surface shows faint vertical striations and dust motes settled on the curve. Quiet shadows pool along the base of the wall where the ledge meets the floor. Early winter light enters from an unseen source, casting soft highlights on the metal base and the painted wood grain. The object stands isolated, its intricate internal grid structure visible through the clear envelope. A thin wire loop connects the base to the glass neck. The amber glow contrasts sharply with the cool, dusty blue of the surrounding paint.
