Amber light from forklift beacons sits atop a metal staging row inside a chilled distribution bay on Chunxi Road. Numbered placards hang in vertical alignment beside outbound scan sheets clipped to wire mesh. Late afternoon sun falls through sheer curtains, falling across concrete walls to form quiet shadows. Business system interfaces appear on every prop, their screens reflecting the dry season light. Layers of depth recede into the distance, revealing more racks and equipment along the floor. A reflection of a forklift tire rests on the polished surface of a nearby metal table.
