Early morning light spills over the brick facade of a narrow Philadelphia row house, casting long shadows across the sidewalk. In the ground-floor window of a small antique shop, a cluster of colorful majolica plates leans against the glass, their glazed surfaces catching the pale dawn. Resting on a wooden shelf just below them is a simple tea infuser spoon, its metal mesh slightly tarnished from age. Outside, the wet pavement reflects the muted tones of the city as a lone pedestrian walks past, their footsteps echoing softly in the quiet street.
