Bright midmorning light floods the roadside diner interior, bouncing off pale walls to illuminate a deep ceramic bowl of dark purple açaí. Sliced bananas, strawberries, and granola mound atop the thick puree, their vibrant reds and yellows against the berry base. The rough texture of the wooden table anchors the bowl, while warm interior shadows stretch across the surface from the overhead skylight. Dry season air settles over the simple white ceramic rim and the scattered fruit pieces. One strawberry slice rests near the edge, its glossy skin catching the reflected light.
