Deep indigo twilight settles over a narrow alley in the Medina, where the warm amber spill from a nearby lantern illuminates a wooden doorframe carved with intricate geometric patterns. A small, scruffy street dog curls asleep on a faded red rug draped over a low stone step, its fur catching the soft glow. Leaning against the wall nearby, a battered accordion rests on its side, its bellows slightly open, forgotten after a performance. The damp cobblestones reflect the scattered light, against the rough, textured plaster of the surrounding walls.
